“I need a new job,” the leprechaun sighed trudging down the dusty road.
“But I asked for a unicorn,” trailed the little girl in mix matched clothes, complete with cowboy boots and a Superman cape.
“That’s not how my magic works,” he gasped as they trudged on.
“That’s not what the book says,” she grinned taunting him with her quickened pace. The leprechaun winced at the thought of the insufferable questions she could dig up about the rainbow. He stopped suddenly and bent down to her level.
“What about finding you a nice pony somewhere?”
“But… I only asked for a unicorn.”
The leprechaun couldn’t help but laugh, “Kid, most people just take the gold.”
